I hope your New Year is going splendidly. I know several of you have been laid out with the crazy Omicron variant. For you, I hope it's mild and resolves quickly. And as I wrote that, I thought "If the 'me' of two years ago could see that sentence, she would wonder what the heck it even meant." How quickly life has changed!!!

My year started on a nice note when I was perusing Facebook recently, and saw that my office had posted the Top 20 Agents for 2021. I looked, just to see who of my friends had made the list. I seriously did not expect to see my own name. And yet, there it was!

Last year was a strange, difficult year, both personally and professionally. The personal, I think you all know. And professionally, we have been dealing with this crazy inventory shortage that has turned the real estate market on its head. But the 20 of us proved that a crazy market is no obstacle to a RE/MAX Alliance agent determined to do what is best for our clients. Buyers are still buying, sellers are still selling. We are making it happen!

So I wanted to write to thank, from the bottom of my heart, all of you who worked with me this past year, or who referred others to work with me. And all of you I shared meals with, or cocktails, or texts, or anything at all. Thanks for being the highlight of my year.

I also wanted to share that my project for the past week has been to update my Very Impressive Providers list. For the past many, many years, I have kept a list of the service providers that I or my clients have used and found particularly impressive. Everything from accountants to veterinarians. People who work on your home. People who work on your spine. People who work on your dog. You name it.

I went through the list this week, calling every one of them to see if they were still serving clients.Most were. I added several who have been recommended to me over the past few years. So now we are completely up to date.

And so, I give you the 2022 edition of MB's Very Impressive Providers list, right here on this very blog site.

Please use it. And please feel free to add to it. If you know of a provider you have found to do a particularly wonderful job, let me know! I don't want the average Joes, or the people you feel obligated to promote because you are related to them or you owe them money or whatever. I want the ones who really impressed you, the ones who went above and beyond, the ones who did an absolutely fabulous job for you. Those are the names I want on the list. It's an exclusive club!!

You will see, at the bottom of the list, a disclaimer. It simply says that either I or someone else had a wonderful experience with this vendor. Which is not, of course, a guarantee that you will have a similarly wonderful experience. So if you have a less that wonderful experience, you don't get to sue me or anything. But I would encourage you to let me know, so I can adjust the list accordingly. It hasn't happened yet, but if one of the VIP's disappoints, I want to know about it.

I also want to know if you are contemplating buying or selling this year. Or if you're just curious about the market. We have some great new products that are making it easier for those homeowners who need to sell before they buy. It can be done! Call me!!
